6. Open and inspect accessible vaults.

<br /> Deliverable:
<br /> a. AutoCAD map showing communications, chilled water, gas (non PG&E), high voltage electric, low
<br /> voltage electric, sanitary sewer, steam, street lights, storm drein, domestic water, lake water and
<br /> recycied water. Services are performed in accordance with "Underground Service Alert (USA)
<br /> Procedures" and Common Ground Alliance's "Locating and Marking Best Practices" Version 4.0. The
<br /> map will also show boring location lines, detectable utilities from their originating vaults, potentially
<br /> buried and abandoned conduits, and any significant findings from the field work shall be submitted
<br /> five (5) weelis from NTP, Five (5) copies of the map and .dwg file shall be submitted to the City.
<br /> TASK 3—UNDERGROUND UTILITY DISTRICT BOUNDARY LEGAL DESCRIPTION
<br /> Consultant shalL•
<br /> 1. Prepare and update legal description based on a plat map of district.
<br /> Deliverable:
<br /> a. Narrative legal description stamped by a California License Land Surveyor shall be submitted two (2)
<br /> weeks after NTP.
<br /> TASK 4— JOINT TRENCH INTENT DRAW INGS AND MEETINGS WITH CITY AND UTILITY COMPANIES
<br /> Consultant shall:
<br /> 1. Prepare record documents.
<br /> 2. Meet with utility companies.
<br /> 3. Provide notification of ineetings to City project management and distribute meeting
<br /> minutes following each project meeting.
<br /> 4. Prepare Joint Trench Intent Drawings coordinated with City, AT&T, PG&E, Comcast and Astound to
<br /> prepare loint Trench Intent Drawings. Contractor shall conduct at least 1 and as many as 3 field
<br /> meetings with each utility company and at least 3 independent site walks.
<br /> 5. Prepare 1"=20' scale plans showing the preliminary Joint Trench alignment along Middlefield Road
<br /> between Main Street and MacArthur Avenue. The Joint Trench will also extend onto the side streets
<br /> of Maple, the JPB RR tracks that cross Maple Street and Pennsylvania Ave, Cassia, Heller, Elm, Beech,
<br /> Cedar, Charter, Pine, Buckeye, Spruce, Manzanita, Laurel, Willow, Chestnut, Flynn, and Douglas.
<br /> Joint trench intent drawings will include City standard border, north arrow, legend, stationing line,
<br /> preliminary trench alignment, proposed street crossings, primary and secondary preliminary trench
<br /> alignment, existing utilities from Task 2, aerial topography from Task 1, termination poles identified,
<br /> preliminary locations of riser poles, conceptual locations for q7 vaults, �5 vaults, and secondary
<br /> vaults, and other items typical to Joint Trench Intent Drawings. The backgrounds for the Joint
<br /> Trench Intent Drawings shall include a conceptual layout of the streetscape sidewalks for reference
<br /> only. Tfie schematic layout shall not include any detailed urban design and shall be for reference
<br /> only. The basis for the background curb lines shall be to show 10-foot wide sidewalks and bulb-outs
<br /> as placeholders.
<br /> 6. Deliver dreft Joint Trench Intent Drewing prior to final drawing to City project management for
<br /> comment. Contractor shall tabulate City comments into a comment-response matrix which shall be
<br /> completed and submitted to City project management for approval.
