(b) Thy Project Will provide employment in the City and will add to the tax base. <br />Therefore, it W1 help the City to meet its goals relating to increasing the tax base <br />and irnproving the housing to employment ratio. <br />34 ■ PUBLIC SERVICES <br />3.7.1 Potential Effect The Project will result in the increased use o city services and <br />facilities. <br />Findings; The City hereby makes Finding (1)0 <br />4 <br />Facts in Su ort of F indin s: <br />(a) Pursuant t o the Development Agreement, the Project .applicant has- agree to <br />pay the City $400,000 to use for purposes benef ttm' g the Redwood Shores <br />conzniunity. Half of this. fund ($200 000) .shall be expended for permanent fire <br />station in Redwood Shores, while the remaining .$200,000 shall be used to fund a <br />community center or for any other cormnunity purpose that the City determines to be <br />appropr <br />7 <br />(b) Sufficient gas, electricity and telephone service capacity exists to meet the <br />needs of the Project. The Development Agreement requires the Project applicant <br />to pay . Facilities Fee (as defined .in the Develop Agreemen for the <br />provision df storm drainage, sewage and. other facilities needed for the Project.
