B. - Page 16 <br /> CONSULTANT will attend a pre-bid meeting that will be held at the City's offices. <br /> If necessary, CONSULTANT will prepare an addendum to the contractors <br /> clarifying any issues that may need clarification on the plans after the pre-bid <br /> meeting. CONSULTANT will prepare bid summaries of the bids received for use <br /> by the City. <br /> Construction Support Services: <br /> CONSULTANT will assist in shop drawing review and will attend up to 4(four) <br /> site meetings to review issues and assist the City in the punch list review when <br /> the project approaches completion. CONSULTANT will also assist in construction <br /> administration, if necessary, under the estimated budget. <br /> Record Drawings: <br /> CONSULTANT will provide Record Drawings based on contractor's markups and <br /> a cursory site visit after construction is complete. <br /> Task 4. Structural Engineering: Plan & Calculations, Coordination & Meetings <br /> 4a. Constructions Documents (30%) <br /> 1. The Structural Engineer will perform a site visit to confirm the current <br /> condition and orientation of the existing site and finalize extents of <br /> proposed new construction. <br /> 2. Review existing geotechnical information for background. Coordinate <br /> with geotechnical engineer to obtain appropriate foundation design <br /> criteria for culvert solutions. <br /> 3. Perform preliminary structural calculations to develop wall concept <br /> details <br /> 4. Review and discuss criteria with the City and the design team. <br /> 5. Review as-built drawings, if available, of the existing crossing structure. <br /> If asbuilt drawings are not available for the existing structure, additional <br /> observations and testing may be required. <br /> 6. Prepare structural calculations as required to determine whether the <br /> existing structure is adequate for Caltrans HL-93 loading. <br /> 7. Review Civil Improvement Plans. <br /> 8. Develop Conceptual Plan and Typical Section sketches for the <br /> proposed structure. <br /> 9. Participation in one meeting with design team to review and comment <br /> on conceptual desig n and critical desig n issues. <br /> 10. Prepare preliminary quantities and estimate. <br /> 4b. Construction Documents - Final Design 90% and 100% <br /> 1. Complete structural calculations for culvert <br /> 2. Prepare contract documents as follows: <br /> S 1 General Plan Layout <br /> S2 Structural Details No. 1 <br /> S3 Structural Details No. 2 and Specifications <br /> 3.
