In the event that you cannot attend a <br />meeting, provide timely notification to the Chair and the Staff Liaison. <br />• Arrive at meetings on time. <br />• Be prepared for every meeting. <br />• Review all staff reports, maps, studies, proposals, correspondence, minutes, <br />etc. prior to the meeting. <br />• Have all reference materials on hand for toga n- ieeting. <br />• Members should familiarize themselvc7" Vith conflict of interest regulations <br />and discuss potential conflicts of intem—.St With the City Attorney's office prior <br />to meetings where matters will be discussed fo1 which the member may have <br />a conflict of interest. The Chairperson exists to run smooth <br />meetings and encourage the input of ideas, promote inclusiveness, <br />and facilitate the overall decision - making process.
