FAN <br />Eventually a Campaign newsletter with campaign and building updates may be <br />published to keep volunteer leaders and donors informed on our progress. <br />The PR Committee will also work with local media through various forms of printed and <br />electronic media as may be appropriate. These efforts will be to keep the general public <br />informed about the project. <br />The Redwood City PAL will be responsible for providing the following: <br />1. Liaison with the Chief of Police, President of PAL and the PAL Board of Directors. <br />2. Under the coordination of the PAL Board President and Youth Services Sergeant, <br />assistance in the development of the Nucleus Fund. <br />3. Assistance in forming the Capital Campaign Steering Committee. <br />4. Coordination of ongoing development activities with the campaign. <br />5. Liaison for the Campaign with annual fundraising for programs. <br />6. Research on major gifts prospects by phases in the Campaign. <br />7. Service to the Campaign solicitation activities <br />8. Handling of all gifts, gift record and acknowledgements. <br />9. Production of campaign status reports. <br />10. Development and production of a publication supporting the case. <br />11. Production of written proposals for major gifts solicitation. <br />Staff Organization <br />Chief Carlos Bo/anos <br />It will be crucial for Chief Bolanos to continue to participate as one of the most <br />persuasive representatives of PAL. It will be essential for him to be available to <br />undertake certain key negotiations and closings for prospect solicitations. <br />Capt. Scott Warner, President of the Board <br />As one of our most articulate spokespersons, Capt. Warner must play a key role in <br />interpreting the case for support to various constituencies and conveying the positive <br />impact of the campaign to donors. He is also must be a key leader for the campaign <br />to succeed. <br />Alpio Barbara, Vice President of the PAL Board <br />He must play a key role in mobilizing the business community and recruiting key <br />steering community members and chairperson to solicit fund. <br />Campaign Manager <br />Must serve as chief campaign strategist. Have jurisdiction on all- important aspects <br />of the Campaign.
