underpass structure. A two track shoofly (or temporary bypass) of the construction site
will be located on the northerly side of the PCJPB right-of-way. The beginning of
spirals and main curves for the shoofly will be located south of the proposed crossing
to avoid interference with the pedestrian crossing.

b) The New Redwood City Station Platform - Redwood City station
has been identified as a "Key Station" for PCJPB under the ADA regulations. The
PCJPB has a consultant designing station improvements and a new station platform
~ which will conform to ADA regulations. The new platform will be an "outside boarding"
tupe with 18 feet between track centers. Passenger platforms will be on the outer sides
of both tracks. An iron fence will be located between tracks from the pedestrian
crossing E-25.43DX near Broadway to the proposed public pedestrian crossing at E-
25.5 except for openings at pedestrian crossings which will be located at each end of
the station platform. The proposed public at-grade pedestrian crossing, as shown on
Exhibits "B" and "C', attached hereto, and incorporated herein by this reference, is
designed so that it can be incorporated in the future station platform and, also, serve
both as a public crosswalk and a passenger boarding crossing. Fencing on platforms
will guide pedestrians to the rubberized at-grade crossings. The proposed crossing at
E-25.5 and the existing crossing at E-25.43DX will have CPUC Standard #10 automatic
warning devices.

c) New Station Depot, Paved Light and Landscape Parking Lot - This
project is currently under construction by the State of California, administered by the
State's Architects office. Scheduled completion is this coming Summer 1995. The new
