- New ultrasonic wet well level transducer with mounting assembly removable from surface <br /> - New individual VFD controllers for each pump motor <br /> -New MicroLogic remote telemetry unit (RTU — matching City standards) for local control <br /> and remote SCADA monitoring <br /> - New backup automatic control logic for operation upon RTU failure; logic to be either <br /> relay based or alternative redundant approach; back up level sensors to be either float <br /> based or redundant level sensor all based on design development decisions with City <br /> regarding emergency operating preferences <br /> -Discrete control to be implemented using failsafe circuiting <br /> -New UPS supply for the RTU and local pump control panel <br /> - Existing PG&E and telephone service (SCADA) to be reused; coordination with PG&E <br /> and telephone company are not required <br /> -Existing Standby generator, ATS, auxiliary MCC section, and power meter to be reused <br /> 2. City will assist with site investigations including providing access to existing equipment and <br /> furnishing copies of existing system design drawings and operation information <br /> 3. City to provide standard Division 0 and 1 including general operational requirements defining <br /> construction constraints (e.g., maximum shutdown duration, limitations on standby power <br /> operation, etc.) consistent with neighborhood sensitivity and pump station operation <br /> 4. Existing site background (ACAD) is available from the City for plan development by <br /> CONSULTANT <br /> 5. Standard outdoor rated pre-engineered electrical enclosures will be provided generally matching <br /> the existing structures; construction of a new fixed structure will not be required <br /> 6. New equipment to fit on existing concrete pad; pad condition assumed adequate for structural <br /> anchoring of new equipment <br /> 7. Civil and mechanical piping modifications except for limited asphalt concrete repair shall not be <br /> required <br /> 8. Scope of Work based on Drawing List and Specification List attached; including standard field to <br /> I/O termination wiring templates <br /> 9. Single pump operation is adequate based on historical station operation; VFD control on each <br /> unit is suitable with pumps operating in a Lead/Standby mode; bypass starters as additional <br /> backup to the VFDs will not be required <br /> 10. CONSULTANT standard specification formatting and CSI 16 Section and 3 Part format will be <br /> used <br /> 11. CONSULTANT CADD standards will be used <br /> 12. City review comments to be submitted in writing, reviewed, and coordinated by City Project <br /> Manager; any conflicts within City review comments to be resolved internally by City staff before <br /> transmission of comments to CONSULTANT <br /> Deliverables: <br /> 1. 60% set of Contract Documents (six hardcopy sets with 11x17 drawings and electronic (PDF <br /> format)) <br /> 2. 60% Construction Drawings: single line and elevation completed, all sheets started <br /> 3. 60% Division 16 (Electrical) Specifications completed except where specific decisions are to be <br /> coordinated with the City <br /> 4. City standard Division 0 and 1 edited for City review <br /> 5. 60% Level Opinion of Probable Cost <br /> 6. Preliminary construction constraints including outage duration, criteria for switchover, etc. <br /> 7.
