6.1.J. - Page 54 <br /> 8. The project shall meet all other necessary Engineering, Fire and Building <br /> Department conditions of approval including, but not limited to, the following: <br /> General Conditions: <br /> 9. The applicant shall install a new water lateral as required by the City <br /> Engineering Division. <br /> 10.The applicant's project shall connect to the sanitary sewer system at the 8- <br /> inch VCP sanitary sewer main along the frontage of EI Camino Real. <br /> 11.The applicant shall divert storm drainage from the project site as required by <br /> the City Engineering Division. <br /> 12. The applicant shall submit an engineering analysis to the City's Engineering <br /> Department demonstrating the net impact from connection to any existing <br /> water, sewer, and storm drainage lines, which analysis is subject to review <br /> and approval of the Engineering Department. <br /> 13.The applicant shall apply for and obtain a Construction Improvement <br /> Permit from the City for work in the public right-of-way, easements or <br /> property in which the City holds an interest, including driveway, sidewalk, <br /> water service and connections, sewer connections, sewer cleanouts, curb <br /> drains, storm drain connections, PG&E/Telephone/TV services, prior to <br /> commencing any such work. <br /> 14.The applicant shall apply for and obtain a Grading Permit from the City for <br /> any grading exceeding 50 cubic yards. <br /> 15.The applicant shall obtain a soils report, prepared by a licensed <br /> geotechnical engineer, in conformance with Engineering Standards, <br /> Volumes II & III, and submit such report for review and approval of the City <br /> Engineer. <br /> 16.The applicant shall complete the City's "NPDES Permit Compliance <br /> Checklist", and provide for permanent stormwater control measures <br /> selected from the City's "Local Source Control Measures List", as <br /> appropriate, subject to approval by the City Engineer It is recommended that <br /> the applicant refer to "Start at Source", a Manual by BASMMA for guidance <br /> regarding appropriate stormwater treatment measures. <br /> 17.If a portion of the proposed work is within the State of California right-of-way <br /> (EI Camino Real), the applicant shall obtain an Encroachment Permit from <br /> the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans, at (510) 286-4417). <br />
