One-point of entry reduces the <br /> need for indi�idual department "reporting" tools; reduces redundant/repeat requests; provides <br /> 5elf-ser�ice tools reducing the time spent by staff answering questions; provides upda#e5 to <br /> citizens on pending r�que5t5; routes service requests to the �roper de�artment, May a[so track <br /> wark#low5 and measure performance. <br /> • Technology MabileApplrcations $ 76,000 <br /> Explanation: A Redwood City mobile app that can include s�ch features as a parking space <br /> lacation finder, registration to City classes, and general information about City programs and <br /> event5. Also, we would look at development of an empfoyee app that could be integrated with <br /> our payroll and finance system to automate internal proce55 related to payroll/timecards, <br /> purchasing and budgeting. Some of these features could be devetoped in advance of launc�ing <br /> the new City website, a praject which is ongoing, and woukd then be integrated into the new <br /> Slt2. <br /> • Employee Engagement Onlrne Performance Management $ 20,000 <br /> Ex�lanation: Autornates the performance management process and pro�ides a better toal to <br /> u5e in the appraisal process. The performance management module being cansidered is part af <br /> the Learning Management 5ysterr� (LMS} that the City gained access to when it partnered with <br /> San Mateo County and formed the regianal trainFng consortium. Qne function of that system <br /> that wa5 not included in the consortium membership is the online performance management <br /> tool.
