Periodically during constr�ctian, the leaves of pratected trees sha11 be <br /> thorough�y sprayed with water to prevent buildup of dust and other <br /> pollution that would inhibit leaf transpiration. <br /> 5. If any damage to a protected tree should occur duz ing or as a result af <br /> work on the site, the project applicant shail immediately natify the City <br /> Arborist of such damage. If, in the professional oprnion af the Arborist, <br /> such tree cannot be preserved in a healthy state, the Arbor�st shall reyuire <br /> replacement of any tree removed with another tree or trees in the same <br /> general location as the damagec� tree. The number of trees aaequate to <br /> compensate for the loss of the tree that is remaved shall be determined by <br /> the Arborist. <br /> b. AlI aebris created as a rest�lt of any tree removal wark shall be removed <br /> by the project applicant fram the praperty within two weeks of debris <br /> creation, and such debris sha11 be properly aisposed of by the app�icant in <br /> accordance with all applicable laws, ordinances, and regulations. <br /> 7. In the event that any af the existing trees do not survive within five years <br /> after the subdivision campletion and it is confirmed by a certified arbo�ist <br /> that the trees were �amaged primarity due to construction impacts of the <br /> project, then the homeowners assaciation shalI be responsibie to replace <br /> the damaged trees to the satisfa�tion of the City. <br /> 8. Prior to the commencement of�ny construction activity on the project site, <br /> the Arborist shall inspect the f�ee pratection measures required ta be in <br /> place before the start of construction to ensure that they have been <br /> completely and properly instal��d. <br /> 9.
