What�s impartant aesthetically about my neighborhaad is the semi-rural character of the porth stde of 1 inger Avenue,with many hames set Far hack from the sh•eet,The apQearance af�arge amounts oF open space wlth mature,afd growth trees,pro�fides a sCriking backdrap to the homes.The cantrast between the north side oF Finget'Avenue and its south side,with its many qua[r�t,early 20t''century bungalows and cottages,is something that's unigue ta Redwood City and treasured by its residents. Exarnples eFhaw the Finger Avenue Project significanrly degrades the aesthetics of our neighhorhood are: . Construction of two homes with wide two-story facades set back rhe minimum allowable distance from the street.There are no houses that targe set that clase to #he street anywhere in our neighbarhood, .
