As E�ibit 6a shows, about 60% of students participated in extended learning opportunities for an average of 75 days in 2010- 11 (note that there were no youth leadership program opportunities). About 34% of extended learning participants received Free or Reduced Price Lunch (FRI'L), which was highest amongst the three strategy areas. Family engagement programs reached 72%of students enrolled in Fair Oaks in 2010-11. Participation in school-home communication events, such as parent-teacher conferences and orientation events, was highest at 55%,but the extent of participation was highest for parent education program participants, who had an average of 26 days of participation. Support programs served nearly 40% of students at Fair Oaks. Students in support programs had lower CST proficiency rates in 2009-10 compared to participants in other programs. Support programs also had higher proportions of male students than other categories and similar rates of FRPL participation. Participants in all categories were less likely than students with no program participation to receive FRI'L but were more likely to be English learners.
