q zo 10 <br />GEOLOGY, SOILS, AND SEISMICITY <br />19.The contractor shall be required to implement San Mateo County <br />Stormwater Pollution Prevention Program (STOPPP) Best <br />Management Practices to minimizE erosion and sito run -off impacts. <br />20.A soils report is required by the Engineering and Construction Services <br />Department prior to issuance of a building permit. <br />21.The applicant shall submit a grading plan for review and approval by <br />the Engineering and Construction Services Department. A dirt hauling <br />permit is also required for moving soil on or off the site. <br />22.All new construction is required to meet Uniform Building Code <br />requirements. <br />NOISE <br />23. Normally scheduled construction activities should adhere to the City's <br />Noise Ordinance. If possible, the noisiest construction activities would <br />be scheduled for daytime hours when the ambient noise levels are <br />highest. <br />24.All construction equipment operated at the project site should be <br />equipped with manufacturer's standard noise control devices (i.e. <br />mufflers, engine enclosures, etc.) <br />25. All construction equipment shall be inspected by the contractor at <br />periodic intervals to ensure proper maintenance and hence, lower <br />noise levels. <br />WATER <br />26.A storm drainage plan and site drainage plan shall be submitted to the <br />Engineering and Construction Services Department to mitigate the <br />impacts of storm water run -off and to ensure adequate site drainage. <br />Review Period <br />All comments regarding the correctness, completeness, or adequacy of this <br />Negative Declaration must be received by the Redwood City Planning Services, <br />1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, no later than 5:00 p.m. on October 28, <br />2003. <br />Contact Person: Sailesh Mehra <br />Planning Services Manager <br />3 <br />
