Staff is recommending that the Planning
Commission certify the Mitigated Negative Declaration, make appropriate findings, and
recommend to the City Council that it be rezoned from RH-40 to RH -20.
Sailesh Mehra, Assistant Planner gave a Power Point presentation on the property at
1025 Lakeview Way pointing out that the site is surrounded with mature trees and
substantial vegetation and abuts a man -made lake, which is part of the subdivision. He
said the rezoning would enable the property to be subdivided and developed, however
that is not part of this proposal. He said this proposal would be consistent with
surrounding land uses, the General Plan, and the Zoning Ordinance.
