3.1.8 There shall be three (3) multispeed wipers that are self-parking. <br /> 3.1.9 The cabin/pilothouse shall have a weather tight door in the aft cabin/pilothouse <br /> bulkhead. Clear opening shall be no less than 30 inches. The door shall have a window 1/3 <br /> the length of the door with 15%tint. The door shall have a 4-inch coaming. The door shall be <br /> fitted with marine quality lockset. The door shall be insulated and be fully dogged. <br /> 3.1.10 There shall be a 24"X24" watertight deck hatch provided for access of the void space <br /> below the main cabin. This space shall be lit and have a tread plate deck for crew to inspect <br /> the fuel tanks as well as use the space for storage of certain fire and EMS gear. <br /> 3.1.11 The floor shall have rubber sound matting installed. <br /> 3.1.12 There shall be three (3) suspension crew seats. A fully adjustable helmsman's seat, <br /> with armrests shall be installed at the steering station in accordance with ABYC Helm <br /> Position Visibility Standards. <br /> 31.13 A chart table with lighting and one AC and one DC accessory power outlets. <br /> 3.1.14 There shall be provisions for storing 2 (D) Cylinder oxygen tanks. <br /> 3.1.15 A bench seat with seat belts for two (2) that can be used as a patient treatment area. <br /> There shall be storage available under the bench with divided sliding doors. The <br /> compartment will be vented to cabin air. <br /> 3.1.16 There shall be provisions for four(4) Scott SCBA provided by the Redwood City Fire <br /> Department. Zico mounting bracket is to be provided by manufacturer. <br /> 3.1.17 It is required that all interior edges and surfaces be smooth and fair. The interior shall <br /> be fully finished. <br /> 3.1.18 All piping shall be concealed. <br /> 3.1.19 There shall be access to all piping, valves, filters and strainers. <br /> 3.1.20 Grab rails shall be installed in the cabin/pilothouse overhead and run the full length of <br /> the cabin/pilothouse. <br /> 3.1.21 All attachments of equipment, hardware, fittings, rubber fender and grab rails shall be <br /> through bolted with stainless steel bolts, backing plates, washers and locknuts. Attachment <br /> using tapped screws or rivets is prohibited unless expressly approved by The Redwood City <br /> Fire Department. All connections shall be insulated to prevent electrolytic corrosion. <br /> 3.2 Cabin/Pilothouse Exterior: <br /> 3.2.1 The roof is to be water tight and self draining. <br /> 3.2.2 A marine aluminum mast shall be provided to mount inland rules navigation and <br /> restricted in ability to maneuver lights, and an emergency beacon light. Mast shall have a <br /> yardarm. The mast shall be hinged at or below the fixed height of the boat structure <br /> (including the radar antenna). Lowering of the mast shall be accomplished from the deck. <br /> 3.2.3 The mast shall be provided with pulleys for two (2) flag hoists. Cleats shall be <br /> provided on the mast for each of the hoists. <br /> 3.2.4 There shall be a two tier radar arch mounted and two watertight electrical boxes that are <br /> integral to the cabin roof. The arch shall have enough depth for antennae seating for radar <br /> and Forward Looking Infra Red(FLIR) as well as enough space for appropriate antennae <br /> spacing per manufacturer's recommendations. There shall be space for two (2) additional <br /> antennas. <br /> 3.3 Lightin�Packa�e: <br /> 3.3.1 Navigation lights for inland rules shall be installed in accordance with U.S. Federal <br /> regulations and controlled by labeled switches at the steering station control panel, all lights <br /> will be of LED type, with one green and one red Hella LED with stainless steel bezels. <br /> Alternatives proposals are also accepted. <br /> 8 <br />
