3.3.2 There shall be one (1) one million candle power remote controlled search light(ACR <br /> RLL-300) mounted on each side of the pilot house. The controls shall be convenient to the <br /> boat operator and clearly marked. <br /> 3.3.3 There shall be four (4) Whelen super LED flood lights mounted on all sides of the pilot <br /> house with protective over covering/housing approved by the Redwood City Fire <br /> Department. <br /> 3.3.4 Three (3) white, 12-volt, 6-inch diameter lights, located one each outboard of the <br /> engines, and one on the centerline of the boat, shall be installed in the machinery space. A <br /> single labeled switch, located in the cabin/pilothouse, shall control the lights. <br /> 3.3.5 Eight White/red, 12-volt, 6-inch diameter, dimmable cabin/pilothouse lights, shall be <br /> provided, and controlled by switches at the helm and labeled, throughout the cabin/pilothouse <br /> area. Six (6) in the pilothouse and two (2) in the cuddy cab area. <br /> 3.4 Electronics: <br /> 3.4.1 The builder will install the following radio components. If at the time of the build there <br /> are updated models, the most current and reliable component will be installed with written <br /> approval of the Redwood City Fire Representative. <br /> • Garmin 4210 10.4" Multi-Function Display(2) <br /> • Garmin GPS Module <br /> • Garmin Radar pome Garmin Transducer <br /> • Ray 430 Hailer <br /> PirateCom 5-Station Headset System FLIR M-324xpiCom 604 VHF Radio(2)Video Card for FLIR Integration for <br /> �armin 3.4.2 One (1) radar, Garmin 4210 series or the Redwood City Department approved <br /> equal. The radar shall have 36nm range capability, 10.4"-inch minimum radar display, <br /> closed radome antenna and interface system for global positioning system and depth sounder <br /> input. The contractor shall supply a compatible chart module, approved by the Redwood City <br /> Fire Department. <br /> 3.4.3 One (1) global positioning system, Garmin 17x NMEA 200 GPS sensor or RCFD <br /> approved equal with radar interface. <br /> 3.4.4 One (1) depth sounder integrated with Garmin System or Redwood City Fire <br /> Departments approved equal. <br /> 3.4.5 One (1) loudhailer/foghorn Raytheon 430 and speaker or The Redwood City Fire <br /> Departments approved equal or better. <br /> 3.4.6 The ability to upgrade to One (1) automatic direction finder Si-Tex 525 VHF/ADF <br /> adaptor The Redwood City Fire Departments or approved equal (not provided). <br /> 3.4.7 One (1) electronic siren and speaker, Whelen 295HFS2X dual amp siren ILOS or the <br /> Redwood City Fire Departments approved equal. <br /> 3.4.8 One FLIR M-Series thermal imager and low light camera, with controls located in the <br /> pilot house approved by Redwood City Fire Department. <br /> 3.4.9 Two (2) ten (10) inch LCD screens to be placed at the helm and navigation station. <br /> 3.410 One Code three 3122 beacon mounted on the center front of the cabin house. <br /> 3.4.11 Electronic equipment shall be located where it is accessible by the boat operator and a <br /> crewmember assisting with navigation. <br /> 3.4.12 One (1) 5-inch minimum diameter magnetic compass with dimmable red lighting shall <br /> be installed and compensated, with all electronics operating, by the contractor. Installation of <br /> the compass shall be in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations. <br /> 3.4.13 All instruments shall be lit by dimmable red backlighting (where possible). There is <br /> no requirement however for continuously dimmable lighting requiring a high cost controller. <br /> 9 <br />
