Motion carried 4-0 by roll call vote with <br /> Council Members Ira, Aguirre and Foust absent. <br /> Opening of Special Election <br /> Chair Pierce announced that Pursuant to Resolution No. 2010-15054, (Resolution <br /> Calling Special Election) the election for the incurring of the bonded indebtedness, the <br /> levy of the special tax, and the establishment of the appropriations limit for City of <br /> Redwood City Community Facilities District No. 2010-1 (One Marina) is now open and <br /> the City Clerk may conduct the election." <br /> City Clerk Vonderlinden received ballots from the landowners. Chair Pierce inquired if <br /> City Clerk Vonderlinden had received the ballots from the landowners in the District? <br /> City Clerk Vonderlinden confirmed she had received one ballot. <br /> Chair Pierce asked: "Are there any further ballots to be submitted to the City Clerk? <br /> If so, please do so at this time." There were none. Then Chair Pierce asked that the <br /> City Clerk proceed to canvass the ballots. City Clerk Vonderlinden proceeded to: <br /> • Verify the information on the "Identification Envelope for Return of Mail <br /> Ballot" <br /> • Separate "Ballot Envelope" from "Identification Envelope" <br /> • Open the Ballot and count the votes <br /> Then the City Clerk executed: `CANVASS AND STATEMENT OF RESULT OF <br /> ELECTION'. <br /> City Clerk Vonderlinden stated: I, the Election Official for the City of Redwood City <br /> Community Facilities District No. 2010-1 (One Marina) special election have completed <br /> the canvass of the ballots. The canvass was as follows: "One vote was cast in support <br /> of the ballot measure and no votes were cast in opposition to the proposition. Therefore, <br /> the ballot measure was approved with a 100% vote in favor." <br /> Consideration of Resolution Declaring Results of Election: <br /> Resolution No. 2010-15055 <br /> A RESOLUTION No. 15055 OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY DECLARING RESULTS OF SPECIAL ELECTION AND DIRECTING <br /> RECORDING OF NOTICE OF SPECIAL TAX LIEN <br /> M/S Seybert/Gee to approve the resolution declaring the results of the special election. <br /> Motion carried 4-0 by roll call vote with Council Members Ira, Aguirre and Foust <br /> absent <br /> Introduction and First Reading of Ordinance Levying Special Tax <br /> 2.
