i Resolution No. 2010-15054 RESOLUTION No. 15054 CALLING SPECIAL ELECTION WITHIN CITY OF REDWOOD CITY COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 2010-1 (ONE MARINA) M/S Gee/Bain calling the Special Election. Motion carried 4-0 by roll call vote with Council Members Ira, Aguirre and Foust absent. Opening of Special Election Chair Pierce announced that Pursuant to Resolution No. 2010-15054, (Resolution Calling Special Election) the election for the incurring of the bonded indebtedness, the levy of the special tax, and the establishment of the appropriations limit for City of Redwood City Community Facilities District No. 2010-1 (One Marina) is now open and the City Clerk may conduct the election." City Clerk Vonderlinden received ballots from the landowners. Chair Pierce inquired if City Clerk Vonderlinden had received the ballots from the landowners in the District? City Clerk Vonderlinden confirmed she had received one ballot. Chair Pierce asked: "Are there any further ballots to be submitted to the City Clerk? If so, please do so at this time." There were none. Then Chair Pierce asked that the City Clerk proceed to canvass the ballots. City Clerk Vonderlinden proceeded to: • Verify the information on the "Identification Envelope for Return of Mail Ballot" • Separate "Ballot Envelope" from "Identification Envelope" • Open the Ballot and count the votes Then the City Clerk executed: `CANVASS AND STATEMENT OF RESULT OF ELECTION'. City Clerk Vonderlinden stated: I, the Election Official for the City of Redwood City Community Facilities District No. 2010-1 (One Marina) special election have completed the canvass of the ballots. The canvass was as follows: "One vote was cast in support of the ballot measure and no votes were cast in opposition to the proposition. Therefore, the ballot measure was approved with a 100% vote in favor." Consideration of Resolution Declaring Results of Election: Resolution No. 2010-15055 A RESOLUTION No. 15055 OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY DECLARING RESULTS OF SPECIAL ELECTION AND DIRECTING RECORDING OF NOTICE OF SPECIAL TAX LIEN M/S Seybert/Gee to approve the resolution declaring the results of the special election. Motion carried 4-0 by roll call vote with Council Members Ira, Aguirre and Foust absent Introduction and First Reading of Ordinance Levying Special Tax 2. Introduce, by first reading of ordinance, the City Council of the City of Redwood City Levying Special Taxes within the City of Redwood City Community Facilities District No. 2010-1 (One Marina).
