It is anticipated that PCC will maintain a Program Coordinator, to <br /> oversee and manage its pro�ram and PE Coaches. City will recruit for its program <br /> up to twelve PE coaches, and conduct all hiring processes of staff including <br /> background and safety checks, as further described herein. <br /> Goal 3- Staff Training: PCC will arran�e training for coaches employed by CITY. The <br /> year-round training of coaches would take place during a mandatory Back to School <br /> trainin� session and subsequent biweekly training sessions. City and PCC coaching <br /> staff will be trained under the umbrella of the "Physical Education Team". All staff <br /> will be trained with the objective to reinforce to students the joy of being active and <br /> healthy, while delivering an exceptional physical education program that meets the <br /> California State requirements for PE. Training sessions will focus on three different <br /> areas: <br /> 1. Community � leadership development <br /> 2. Teaching methods <br /> 3. Program curriculum <br /> Goal 4- PE Components: The PE Plus pro�ram for RCSD schools will be designed to <br /> ensure that the social, emotional, physical, and learnin� needs of the students are <br /> being met during their time in PE.
