1.8 PROJECT MANAGER shall assist City with written questions from bidders <br /> and coordinate, or assist with assembling written responses in <br /> coordination with architects for REDWOOD CITY's approval. Assist or <br /> prepare written addenda, if necessary, and assist with distributing supplied <br /> copies of addenda to all bidders in accordance with specified time limits. <br /> 1.9 PROJECT MANAGER with City's Project Engineer shall conduct and <br /> document the pre-bid and post-bid conferences. <br /> 1.10 PROJECT MANAGER shall at the bid opening assist City's Project <br /> Engineer in recording all bids and prepare bid tabulation. Review bids for <br /> completeness and responsiveness and advise COMMUNITY <br /> DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR of any irregularities in the bids or in the <br /> bidding process. <br /> 1.11 PROJECT MANAGER shall assist City's Project Engineer and <br /> COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR in the contract award and <br /> preparation of the Notice to Proceed. <br /> 2.0 NOT USED <br /> 3.0 PROJECT ADMINISTRATION <br /> PROJECT MANAGER shall provide all services necessary for the administration <br /> of the construction contract consistent with the General Conditions of the Contracts for <br /> Construction for the Project, including, without limitation, the following: <br /> 3.1 Establish written procedures for the Project; and upon COMMUNITY <br /> DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR'S approval of written procedures, prepare <br /> and revise as necessary a Project Procedures Manual for COMMUNITY <br /> DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR'S review and comment. Update this manual <br /> as necessary to keep current with Project progress within finro (2) weeks of <br /> an event giving rise to a change. The Project Procedures Manual shall <br /> include, at a minimum, discussion of the following: <br /> • lines of communication; <br /> • protocol for processing budget revision; <br /> • protocol for processing contingency revision; <br /> • procurement guidelines; <br /> • job progress meetings; <br /> • processing payment requests; <br /> • site security; <br /> • storage of mate�ials and staging of construction; <br /> ATTY/AGR/2012.097/VANIR CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT AGREEMENT <br /> REV:08-07-12 VR <br /> Page 12 of 23 <br />
