Contractnr hereby agrees that it will comply with the provisions of <br /> Sec#ion 3, the regulations set forth in 24 C�R (Code of Federal Regulations) part <br /> 135, as that section may be amended from time ta tim�, and all applicable rules <br /> and orders of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development; and that <br /> it will, to the greatest extent feasible, make available opportunifies for training <br /> and emplayment under this contract to lower income residents of R�dwoad City. <br /> 18. NONDISCRIMINATEON BASED ON DISABILITY, Contractnr hereby <br /> agr�es that it will comply witF� the provisions of Section 504 of th� Re�abilitation <br /> Act of 1973, as amended, and the Amer�can with Disal�ilities Act (ADA) <br /> pro�iding equal access and reasonable accammodations in employment <br /> programs and services to persons who are disabled. <br /> 19. INTEREST OF PUBLIC OFFICIALS. No members, officers, or <br /> emplayees or agents of the City of Redwaod City, no m�mber of the City Councif <br /> and no other public official who exercises any functian or responsibility with <br /> respect to this Agreement or Contractor's Program during his ar her tenure, or for <br /> one year thereafter, will have any interest, direct or indirect, in this Agreem�nt ar <br /> a related subcontract, or the proceeds thereaf. Contractor will incorporate in all <br /> subcontracts hereunder a provision prohibitir�g such interest. <br /> 20. LOBBYING PROHIBI7ED. Funds provided under this Agreemen#will <br /> nat be used by Contractor for pubficity or prflpa�anda p�rpases designed to <br /> support or defeat legislatian pending befare federal, stafe, or local government. <br /> 21. RELIGIOUS ACTIVITY PROHIBIT�D.
