Cantractnr hereby agrees that it wilf comply with the provisions of <br /> Section 3, the regulations set forth in 24 CFR (Code af Federal Regulations) part <br /> 135, as that section may be amended from time to time, and all applicable rules <br /> and orders nf ti�e U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development; and that <br /> it will, ta the greatest extent #easible, make availabfe opporfunities for training <br /> and emplayment under this contract to lower income residents of Redwoad City. <br /> 18. NONDISCRIMINATION BASED ON D15ABIL�TY. Con#racfor hereby <br /> agrees that it wifl compfy with the provisions af Sectior� 504 of the Rehabilitation <br /> Act af 1973, as amen�ed, and the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) <br /> providing equal access and reasonabl� accommodations in employment <br /> programs and services to persons who are disabled. <br /> 19. INTERES7 OF PUBLfC OFFfCIALS. No members, afficers, or <br /> employees or agents of the City of Redwood City, no member of the City Councif <br /> and no other public official who exercises any function or responsibility with <br /> respect to this Agreement or Contractor's Program during his or her tenure, or for <br /> one year #hereafter, will have any interest, direct or indfrect, in this Agreemer�t or <br /> a related subcontract, or the proceeds thereaf. Contractor wifl incorporate in all <br /> subcontracts hereunder a provision prohfbiting such interest. <br /> 20. LOBBYING PROM�BITED. Funds pravid�d under this Agreement wilf <br /> not be used by Contractor for publicity or propaganda purposes designed to <br /> support or defeat legislation pending before f�deral, s�ate, or local go�ernment. <br /> 21. RELfGIOUS ACTIVITY PROHlBlTED.
