i <br /> . <br /> 1.4 RFI and Submittals. <br /> 1.4.1 The CONSULTANT shall process all construction submittals and <br /> Requests for Information (RFI) within 5 business days and Re-submittals <br /> shall be processed within 2 business days thus providing a maximum of <br /> two (2) reviews, and approve, or take other appropriate action, upon the <br /> construction contractor's required submittals such as Shop Drawings, <br /> Product Data, Samples and other submittals required by the Contract <br /> Documents for the limited purpose of checking for conformance with <br /> information given and the design concept expressed in the Construction <br /> Documents. <br /> 1.4.2 The CONSULTANT shall review and respond to timely requests from the <br /> construction contractor for additional information regarding the <br /> Construction Documents. The CONSULTANT shall prepare supplemental <br /> drawings and specifications as needed to respond to contractor's requests <br /> for additional information <br /> 1.4.3 The CONSULTANT shall maintain a record of all submittals and copies of <br /> submittals supplied by the contractor and all CONSULTANT responses to <br /> such submittals. <br /> 1.4.4 The CONSULTANT shall distribute all documents electronically and in a <br /> timely fashion and maintain a complete set of all documentation at the <br /> CONSULTANT's office. <br /> 1.5 Chanpes in the Work. <br /> 1.5.1 The CONSULTANT shall assist CITY in issuing Construction Change <br /> Requests that effect the interpretation of the design set forth in the <br /> Construction Documents. If necessary, the CONSULTANT shall prepare <br /> Drawings and Specifications to describe Work to be added, deleted or <br /> modified. <br /> 1.5.2 The CONSULTANT shall review and sign Change Orders in accordance <br /> with the Construction Documents. <br /> 1.5.3 The CONSULTANT shall review properly prepared, timely requests by the <br /> construction contractor for Changes in the Work which effect the intent of <br /> the design set forth in the Construction Documents, including adjustments <br /> to the Contract Sum or Contract Time.
