DFS:djk 08/31/87R <br /> <br />during the term hereof to modify Collection rates as a result of <br />events significantly reducinq Company's Operating Costs. Such <br />events may include, but shall not necessarily be limited to, <br />changes in the law or regulations implementative thereof, use of <br />cost-saving operating techniques or equipment and changes in <br />technology. <br /> <br /> (d) Overriding Consideration. Notwithstanding the <br />foregoing, with respect to any proposed adjustment in Collection <br />rates, Agency shall, and does hereby, reserve and retain the <br />right to determine the amount of any such adjustment, if any, in <br />furtherance of the public interest, health, safety, and welfare; <br />provided, however, that Agency shall not unreasonably refuse to <br />make any adjustment recommended by Authority determined in <br />accordance with the Rate Modification Process described above. <br /> <br /> Section 6.4. .Accounting and Reporting Practices. Company <br />shall keep and maintain accounts of its operations in accordance <br />with, and shall follow the accounting practices described by, <br />that certain publication entitled "Generall~ Accepted Accounting <br />Principles", published by the American Institute of Certified <br />Public. Accountants, using the most current edition thereof <br />throughout the term hereof. <br /> <br /> Company shall provide Agency or Authority with information <br />in such format, and at the times, as shall reasonably be <br />determined by Agency or Authority as necessary to monitor the <br />financial activities of Company's operations pertinent hereto, <br />and to carry out the rate modification process described in <br />Sections 6.2 and 6.3. <br /> <br /> Section 6.5.
