1 ARTICLE II <br />2 DEFINITIONS <br /> <br /> 3 2.1 AB 939 <br /> 4 "AB 939' means the California Integrated Waste Management Act of 1989, as it <br /> 5 may be amended from time to time. <br /> <br /> 6 2.2 Agency <br /> 7 "Agency" means the municipal corporation or political subdivision (as the case <br /> 8 may be) of the State of California named a party to this Agreement. <br /> <br />9 2.3 Agency. Facilities <br />10 "Agency Facilities" means any and all buildings and offices where Agency <br />11 employees work on a full-time basis. <br /> <br />12 2.4 Agreement <br />13 "Agreement" means this Agreement (dated as of , 1996 <br />14 including all exhibits and attachments, and any amendments thereto) between <br />15 Agency and Company for Collection, Proc,essing, and Marketing of Green Waste, <br />16 and other services related to meeting the goal and requirements of AB 939. <br /> <br />17 2.5 Authority <br />18 "Authority" means the public entity formed pursuant to that certain agreement <br />19 entered into in 1981 and entitled "Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement - South <br />20 Bayside Transfer Station" by and between the County of San Mateo, the West <br />21 Bay Sanitary District (formerly known as the Menlo Park Sanitary District), and <br />22 the Cities of Atherton, Belmont, Burlingame, East Palo Alto, Foster City, <br />23 Hillsborough, Menlo Park, Redwood City, San Carlos, and San Mateo, California. <br /> <br />24 2.6 Billings <br />25 "Billings" means any and all statements of charges for services rendered, <br />26 howsoever made, described or designated by Company, or made by Agency or <br />27 others for Company, to owners or occupants of property, including Residential <br />28 Property and Commercial and Industrial Property, served by Company for the <br />29 Collection of Solid Waste. <br /> <br /> Page 4 8/2/96 <br /> <br /> <br />
