Federal Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (42 USC §6901 et. sea..), and all <br /> future amendments thereto. However, for the purposes of this Agreement, shall <br /> not mean Household Hazardous Waste which may be contained in Solid Waste <br /> provided that Agency and Local Jurisdictions are in compliance with federal, <br /> state and local laws related to the diversion of Household Hazardous Waste. This <br /> definition supersedes that provided in the Unifom-t Franchise Agreement. <br /> <br /> 7 2.23 Home Based Business <br /> 8 "Home Based Business" means a small business or organization operating on a <br /> 9 residential premises. <br /> <br />10 2.24 Low Income Resident <br />11 "Low Income Resident" means a Agency resident who can demonstrate that <br />12 he/she is participating in the Public Utilities Commission (PUC) Low Income <br />13 Rate Payer Assistance Program (LIRA) for other utilities. <br /> <br />14 2.25 Mana_~er <br />15 "Manager" means Agency's Chief Executive Officer, howsoever designated by <br />16 Agency, and his or her designee. <br /> <br />17 2.26 Materials Recovery. Facility. <br />18 "Materials Recovery Facility" means a permitted Solid Waste Facility where <br />19 Solid Waste or Recyclable Materials are sorted or separated for the purposes of <br />20 Recycling, reuse, composting, or processing. <br /> <br />21 2.27 Multi-Family Dwellin~ Unit <br />22 "Multi-Family Dwelling Unit" means any residential premises, other than a <br />23 Single Family Dwelling unit, used for residential purposes, irrespective of <br />24 whether residence therein is transient, temporary, or permanent. Such premises <br />25 noe~-ztally have centralized Solid Waste Collection service for all units in the <br />26 building. <br /> <br />27 2.28 Owner <br />28 "Owner" means the person(s) or entity(ies) holding the legal title to the real <br />29 property constituting the premises to which Green Waste Collection service is to <br /> <br /> Page 8 8/2/96 <br /> <br /> <br />
