1 ARTICLE IV <br />2 DIRECT SERVICES <br /> <br />3 4.1 General <br />4 The work to be done by Company pursuant to this Agreement shall include the <br />5 furnishing of all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, supplies, and all other <br />6 items necessary to perform the services required. The enumeration of, and <br />7 specification of requirements for particular items of labor or equipment shall not <br />8 relieve Company of the duty to furnish all others, as may be required, whether <br />9 enumerated or not. <br />10 The work to be done by Company pursuant to this Agreement shall be <br />11 accomplished in a thorough and professional manner so that the residents within <br />12 the Agency are provided reliable, courteous, and high-quality Green Waste <br />13 Collection at all times. The enumeration of, and specification of requirements for <br />14 particular aspects of service quality shall not relieve Company of the duty of <br />15 a~complishing all other aspects in the manner provided in this Article IV, <br />16 whether such other aspects are enumerated elsewhere in the Agreement or not. <br />17 Company shall provide service, Collect, and remove all Green Waste generated <br />18 by occupant and placed in Green Waste Containers, or bundled and placed <br />.19 alongside such containers, at the designated Collection locations for all Single <br />20 Family Dwelling Units, Multi-Family Dwelling Units, and Home Based <br />21 .Businesses in residential areas, in accordance with Company's Proposal (Exhibits <br />22 1, 2 and 3). Should conflicts occur in the description of Company's. performance <br />23 among these proposal then the most recent proposal shall govern. <br /> <br />24 4.2 Green Waste Pro_~ram <br />25 4.2.1 Program Goals <br />26 The Agency's goal of diverting Green Waste from landfill disposal is 15.7% of the <br />27 total waste stream, which is estimated to be equivalent to 22,252 tons annually. <br />28 Exhibit 3, Section 10, is Company's timeline to achieve Agency's Green Waste <br />29 diversion goals. Each processing method and facility utilized must comply with <br />30 all applicable laws and regulations, as described in Section 4.6, and must ensure <br />31 full diversion credit to Agency. <br /> <br /> Page 18 8/2/96 <br /> <br /> <br />
