1 nature of repair, and the signature of a maintenance supervisor that the <br />2 repair has been properly perfo~a-,ed. <br />3 5) Company shall furnish sufficient equipment to provide all service <br />4 required under this Agreement, including back-up Collection vehicles. <br />5 Company shall furnish within thirty (30) days of request to Agency, a <br />6 written inventory of all equipment, including Collection vehicles, used in <br />7 providing service, and shall update the inventory annually. <br />8 E. Operation. Vehicles shall be operated in compliance with the California <br />9 Vehicle Code and all applicable safety and local ordinances. Company shall <br />10 not load vehicles in excess of the manufacturer's recommendations or <br />11 limitations imposed by state or local weight restrictions on vehicles. <br />12 Equipment shall comply with U.S. Environmental Protection Agency noise <br />13 emission regulations, currently codified at zl0 CFR Part 205, and other <br />14 applicable noise control regulations, and shall incorporate noise control <br />15 features throughout the entire vehicle. Noise levels of equipment used for <br />16 Collection shall not exceed any related noise levels identified in local, state, or <br />17 federal regulations. <br />18 Company (as opposed to Agency) shall be financially responsible for any <br />19 damage it causes to Agency's driving surfaces, whether or not paved, and <br />20 associated curbs, gutters, and traffic control devices resulting from or directly <br />21 attributable to any of its operations. <br />22 4.3.3 Personnel <br />23 As described in Company's Proposal (Exhibits 1, 2 and 3), Company shall furnish <br />24 such qualified drivers, mechanical, supervisory, clerical, management, and other <br />25 personnel as may be necessary to provide the services required by this <br />26 Agreement in a satisfactory, safe, economical, and efficient manner. If additional <br />27 personnel are required to meet the service standards of this Agreement, <br />28 Company shall provide such additional personnel at its own expense. Company <br />29 shall notify Agency at least two (2) weeks in advance of any change in personnel <br />30 or staffing which may affect the quality or timing of service under this <br />31 Agreement. Agency shall be notified immediately of any change in management <br />32 staff associated with this Agreement. <br />33 All drivers shall be trained and qualified in the operation of vehicles they operate <br />34 and must possess a valid license, of the appropriate class, issued by the <br />35 California Department of Motor Vehicles. <br /> <br /> Page24 8/2/96 <br /> <br /> <br />
