1 Company also agrees to establish and vigorously enforce an educational <br />2 program which will train Company's employees in the identification of <br />3 Hazardous Waste. Company's employees shall not knowingly place such <br />4 Hazardous Waste in the Collection vehicles, nor knowingly dispose of such <br />5 Hazardous Wastes at the Material Recovery Facility or Processing Facility. <br />6 Company shall train its employees in customer courtesy, shall prohibit the use of <br />7 loud or profane language, and shall instruct Collection crews to' perform their <br />8 work in a quiet manner, in accordance with industry standards. Company shall <br />9 use its best efforts to ensure that all employees present a neat appearance, and <br />10 that they conduct themselves in a courteous manner. If any employee is found to <br />11 be discourteous or not to be performing services in the manner required by this <br />12 Agreement, Company shall take all necessary corrective measures. If Agency has <br />13 notified Company of a complaint related to discourteous or improper behavior, <br />14 Company will reassign the employee to duties not entailing contact with the <br />15 public while Company is pursuing its investigation and corrective action <br />16 process. <br /> <br />17 4.3.4 Identification Required <br />18 Company shall provide its employees and subcontractors with identification for <br />19 all individuals who may' make personal contact with residents or businesses in <br />20 the Agency. The Agency may require Company to notify customers yearly of the <br />21 form of said identification. Company shall provide a list of current employees, <br />22 companies, and subcontractors to the Agency upon request. <br /> <br />23 4.3.5 Fees and Gratuities <br />24 Company shall not, nor shall it permit any agent, employee, or subcontractors <br />25 employed by it to request, solicit, demand, or accept, either directly or indirectly, <br />26 any compensation or gratuity for any services performed under this Agreement. <br /> <br />27 4.4 Implementation Plan <br />28 The parties recognize that substantial planning will be required in order to <br />29 ensure an orderly initiation of Green Waste Collection services by January 1, <br />30 1997. To that end, Agency has required Company to submit, as a part of its <br />31 proposal, a detailed implementation plan addressing, among other things, the <br />32 steps Company will take, and the schedule on which it will take them to prepare <br />33 for such an orderly initiation of service. The implementation plan shall cover <br />34 Company's schedule for acquiring necessary equipment, personnel, storage and <br />35 maintenance facilities, administrative offices, and customer relations materials <br /> <br /> Page25 8/2/96 <br /> <br /> <br />
