Consultant will coordinate and oversee the development of the System Design <br /> Criteria to be prepared under separate agreements with Kennedy/Jenks <br /> Consultants (Redwood City / K/J San Francisco office; SBSA/K/J Palo Alto <br /> office). The Project requires integrated hydraulic system design criteria to be <br /> utilized by separate design engineers that will work on the Project for either <br /> Redwood City or SBSA. The Consultant will coordinate with the Kennedy/Jenks <br /> team and report to both Managers on the development of a consistent set of <br /> design criteria. <br /> <br /> Work Product: Various forms of communications containing comments, <br /> suggestions and recommendations. <br /> <br /> Task No. 6: Regulatory Agency Permitting <br /> <br /> Consultant will prepare detailed outlines of the required Engineer's Report for the <br /> eventual preparation and submittal to the California Department of Health <br /> Services (DHS) in compliance with state laws and regulations. Information <br /> gathering for the outlines will include a survey of agencies with recycled water <br /> programs. Consultant will also prepare detailed outlines of a "customer user <br /> manual" for use by the Project and also submittal to DHS. <br /> <br /> Work Product: Detailed outlines of the Engineer's Report and a "customer user <br /> manual". The "customer user manual" outline will include a comparison of <br /> specific standards adopted by agencies noted by DHS to be amidst the "best" of <br /> the state's agencies with recycled water programs. <br /> <br /> Task No. 7: Decision Making Work-Group Session Organization and <br /> Participation <br /> <br /> Consultant will organize and conduct decision making work-group sessions with <br /> key Redwood City and SBSA staff, and project consultants as requested by the <br /> City's Program Manager. The purpose of the work-group sessions will be to <br /> establish various project standards, rules, and regulations. Outlines created <br /> under Task No. 6 will guide work-group discussions. <br /> <br /> Work Product: Organized work-group sessions and written documents for <br /> ultimate use in the Engineer's Report and "customer user manual". <br /> <br /> Task No. 8: Consultation as requested by City of Redwood City <br /> <br /> As directed by the City's program manager, Consultant will provide input, peer <br /> review and/or comments on a variety of project issues and activities during the <br /> period January through April 2004. <br /> <br />WBA Agreement 12 Revised 1/12/2004_PCl <br />City Attorney Approved Version 101003 <br /> <br /> <br />
