7.B. - Page 88 Redwood City Chapter 4.Environmental Impact Analysis analyzed in the 2007 FEIR.Middlefield Road would have an increase of 20 new trips and 50 diverted trips contributing to traffic noise levels.To evaluate the total contribution of the project plus the proposed modifications to the ambient noise environment,traffic noise levels for the project with the proposed modifications were modeled based on existing traffic volumes,which were compared to modeled noise levels for existing traffic volumes without the project.As shown in Table 4.5-2,the project with proposed modifications would result in an increase of less than 1 dBA along Middlefield Road and Woodside Road.Therefore,the traffic noise increase as a result of the proposed modifications is expected to result in a noise increase of less than 1 dBA on adjacent streets,and the increased noise levels would remain well within the City's noise standards. New traffic noise impacts would be less than significant.
