7.B. - Page 124 <br /> Chapter 6 <br /> Cumulative Impacts <br /> This chapter describes the cumulative impacts associated with the proposed modifications to the <br /> project evaluated in the 2007 FEIR.As described in the 2007 FEIR(page 6-1),cumulative impacts <br /> are evaluated on a regional and local basis.According to Section 15130(b)(1)3 of the CEQA <br /> Guidelines,the lead agency must"define the geographic scope of the area affected by the cumulative <br /> effects and provide a reasonable explanation for the geographic limitation used."For the purpose of <br /> this cumulative impact analysis,the project with the proposed modifications were evaluated along <br /> with several proposed or ongoing development projects within Redwood City that cumulatively <br /> could have a significant effect on the environment,including the projects evaluated in the 2007 <br /> FEIR.The projects evaluated in the 2007 FEIR(page 6-1) include: <br /> • Abbott Labs. <br /> • Kaiser Hospital Campus. <br /> • West Point Marina. <br /> • Pacific Materials Batch Plan. <br /> • Downtown Cinema. <br /> Additional projects that are included in this cumulative analysis are: <br /> • 2808 El Camino Real (assisted care facility). <br /> • 450 Broadway(Stanford Medical Clinic). <br /> • 550 Broadway(Stanford University: University,office,clinic, R&D). <br /> • 2580 El Camino Real (residential). <br /> • Downtown Precise Plan. <br /> • 640 Veterans Boulevard (residential). <br /> • 104 Cedar Street(residential). <br /> • 333 Main Street(residential). <br /> • 134 Maple Street(nursing facility). <br /> • One Marina (residential). <br /> Environmental documents prepared for the projects are on file with the City of Redwood City and <br /> can be reviewed at the City of Redwood City Community Development Department at 1017 <br /> Middlefield Road, Redwood City,California 94063. <br /> All of the additional projects listed above are within approximately 1.3 miles of the project site and <br /> are either planned,approved,or under construction.These projects include residential,medical,and <br /> office uses.As described in the 2007 FEIR(page 6-1),and based on the nature of the additional <br /> projects included in this analysis,the proposed modifications could result in potential cumulative <br /> impacts on traffic,air quality,noise,greenhouse gas emissions,hydrology and drainage,public <br /> services,and utilities.All of the direct impacts of the original project and the proposed modifications <br /> Addendum No.2 to the Environmental Impact Report for September 2012 <br /> the Redwood City Costco Wholesale Project 6-1 ICF 00154.12 <br />
