The transportation data was collected before the Memorial Day weekend as requested by the <br /> City to ensure it captured typical peak characteristics with schools in session. Data was collected <br /> related to peak period site driveway traffic counts, peak period on-site traffic counts (at the fuel <br /> station and at key internal site intersections), fuel station queuing, fuel station wait times, and peak <br /> periods parking supply and demand. <br /> Existing Site Trip Generation <br /> Traffic counts were conducted during a typical mid-week day p.m.peak period (4 PM to 7 PM) and <br /> a typical weekend midday peak period (11 AM to 3 PM) in May of 2011 to document the existing <br /> trip generation characteristics of the site. Given that the existing fuel station <br /> experiences queuing during these peak times (and is essentially operating over capacity),the traffic <br /> counts collected counted both vehicles processed by the fuel station and also vehicles joining the <br /> Kittelson&Associates,Inc.
