ORAL COMMUNICATIONS: <br /> James Lee, with Occupy Redwood City, expressed his concern for affordable housing <br /> availability in Redwood City. He noted that the City has a thousand market rate units in <br /> the development pipeline and should be aware of the need for affordable housing as well <br /> as make an effort to work with developers willing to build with unions and labor at <br /> prevailing wages to help people on the peninsula. <br /> 4. CONSENT CALENDAR: NONE <br /> 5. A. Costco <br /> Mr. Lyon noted that both the items on the agenda had previously certified EIRs and <br /> therefore the CEQA guidelines and statutes within them allow for opportunities to have <br /> addendums.
