A 6.4.A. - Page 63 <br /> that results in the parkin� structure bein� adequately screened from adjoinin� <br /> parcels; (3) architectural detailin� and articulation that provides texture on the <br /> fa�ade or structure openin�s and effectively inte�rates the parkin� structure into the <br /> basic buildin� desi�n; and/or (4) artwork such as sculptures, murals, and mosaics. <br /> 3. Landscaped Setback of Parkin�. Surface and structured parkin� areas shall be set back <br /> from adiacent buildin�s and streets, and shall be landscaped in accordance with Section <br /> 30.17 (Improvements for Parkin�and Loadin� Facilities). In addition: <br /> a. From streets. Where surface parkin� is located between a buildin� and a street, a <br /> landscaped setback at least two feet wide must be provided between the parkin� <br /> area and the adiacent ri�ht-of-wav. The landscapin� shall be planted and maintained <br /> in a manner that provides appropriate screenin� of the parkin� use from the public <br /> ri�ht-of-wav. <br /> b. From on-site buildin�s. Surface and structured parkin� areas must be separated <br /> from on-site buildin�s bv a minimum distance of six feet, which mav be occupied bv <br /> landscapin� or required walkwavs. <br /> C. Drivewav Frequencv and Curb Cuts. Parkin�, loadin�, and service areas shall be accessed <br /> from allevs and/or side streets, wherever feasible. Feasibilitv shall be determined bv the <br /> responsible review authoritv. Curb cuts shall be minimized and located in the location least <br /> likelv to impede pedestrian circulation. Curb cuts shall be located at least 15 feet from an <br /> intersection curb return or pedestrian crosswalk. For parcels of less than 200 feet in len�th <br /> alon� the street front, onlv one vehicular access point shall be permitted off the street <br /> front. For all other parcel fronta�es, a maximum of one vehicular access point for each 200 <br /> feet, or fraction thereof, of street fronta�e is permitted. The number of available driveways <br /> and/or curb cuts is determined by the parcel fronta�e, while the placement of such access <br /> points shall be determined by the City Transportation Coordinator or his/her desi�nee. <br /> D. Bicvcle Parkin� Provision. Bicvcle parkin� shall be provided for new development consistent <br /> with this Section. <br /> 1. Residential Bicvcle Parkin�. Secure bicvcle parkin� facilities shall be provided for <br /> residential units. Minimum capacitv shall be one secured parkin� space per three <br /> dwellin� units. Acceptable parkin� facilities shall be located convenient to the street <br /> and must include: <br /> a. Covered, lockable enclosures with permanentiv anchored racks for bicvcles; and/or <br /> b. Lockable bicvcle rooms with permanentiv anchored racks; and/or <br /> c. Lockable, permanentiv anchored bicvcle lockers. <br /> 2. Commercial Bicvcle Parkin� (Tenant).
