The car share provider is respor�sible for the developmen� ancE <br /> construction of actual sigr�s. <br /> 2.3 Operations <br /> 2.3.1 District wili pravide ongoing oversight of the car share con�ract fo ensure they are <br /> meeting all contract requiremen�s, including both operating and marketing <br /> requirements. <br /> Task 3.0 Short-distance Vanpool ! <br /> The Short-distance Vanpool program consists af: (1} vanpools �rom the Redwovd City Caltrair� <br /> Station (where they would be parked overnight) ta worksites that are not accessible by existing <br /> transit service a��/or shuttle routes, and (2) door-tfl-door vanpools for short distance <br /> commutes of approximately 20 miles or less �rom employee homes/pick-up points directly to <br /> worksi�es for�rips that ar� no�time-competitive by transit service and/or shu�tle routes. As <br /> many var�pools as can be funded under the established budget indicated in Attachment B may <br /> be d�ployed from the Caltrain statior� or residential sites depending upon demand. <br /> The Alliance will be the iead in the administra�ion, p(anning, implementation, and oversight of , <br /> ongaing operations of the Shor�-distance Vanpool. The Distric� and the remaining Parties will <br /> pro�ide suppor� and assistance as needed for �raject planr�ing and implementation. <br /> 3.1 Plannir�g and Procuremer�t <br /> 3.1.1 Selection of Vanpool Pro�ider <br /> 3.1.1.1 Alliance wili prepare and distribute a Reqtaest for Proposals (RFP) to <br /> vanpaol providers to impl�ment the program. <br /> 3.1.i.2 Alliance will administer the contract with the selected vanpoal pro�ider <br /> and be the coordinator betwe�� the par�icipating Employers and the <br /> pravider. <br /> 3.�..1.3 The Dis�ric� will reirnburse the A1liance for 75°/a of the lease cas�for each <br /> van.
