appropriately implement the City of Redwood City General Plan, applicable <br /> provisions of the Redwood City Municipai Code and Downtown Precise Plan, and <br /> the 601 Main Street project. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FQLLOWS: <br /> Section 1. The Pfanning Commissian finds tnat the abo�e recitals are <br /> accurate and constitute fincfings in this matter and, tagether with the Staff Repor� <br /> and the applicatian materials, including withaut fimitation the Initial Study, <br /> de�elopment plan, and all other documents, reports, studies, memoranda, maps, <br /> oral and written testimony, and materials in the City's file for the applications and <br /> fhe Project, and alf adoptec! City planning documents relating to the Praject and <br /> the property induding the Cify's General Plan, Mt�nicipal Code, Downtawn <br /> Precise Plan, and ather applicable City laws and reg�lations, and all associatec! <br /> approved and certi#ied environmental documents, have tagether ser�ed as an <br /> adequate and appropriate evidentiary E�asis for the findings and actions set forth <br /> in this Resolution. <br /> Section 2. Initial Study Checklist (IS): The Planning Commissian finds <br /> that: <br /> a. The !S was �repared in accordance with all legaf <br /> requirements. <br /> b. The Planning Commission has reviewed and analyzed the !S <br /> and ather information in the entire record and has <br /> cansidered tf�e information contained therein, including the <br /> written and ora! comments recei�ecE at the �ut�lic hearing on <br /> the Project, prior to acting upon ar appro�ing the Project. <br /> c. Based on substantial evidence in the record, the praposed <br /> Project is within the scope of the previously approved <br /> Downtown Precise Plan and is adequately described in the <br /> previous�y certified Downtown Precise Plan Program �1R for <br /> purpases of CEQA. The mifigation measures and Statement <br /> of Qverriding Consideratiorts associated with cerEification of <br /> the Prograrr� EIR addresses the er�vironmenfial effects of the <br /> Project. <br /> d. As set forth in CEQA Guidelines sections 15162 and 151fi8, <br /> the propased Project will not result iR any new environmental <br /> effects or require new mitigation measures beyond those <br /> identified ir� the Downtown Precise Plan Program EIR and <br /> adopted upon approval of the Downtown Precise P�an. No <br /> new environmental document is required. <br /> e. Pursuant to Guidelines section 'i 5091(e), the documents and <br /> other r�atErials that constitute the record of proceedings <br /> upon which the Planning Commission has based its decision <br /> are iocated in and may be abtainec� from, the Office of the <br /> City Clerk at 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, <br /> ATTYIRES0.28671601 MAIN STREET TENTATIV�PARCEL MAP AND?C PERMIT <br /> REV:06-05-13 VR <br /> Page 2 of 11 <br />
