<br />, -, t.." <br />'.' <br /> Section 5.7. Operative Date. of Stage 1 of the <br />Project. The operative date of Stage 1 of the Project shall <br />be the date on whiçh all portions of Stage 1 of the Project <br />constructed by the Authority are complete and are accepted <br />by the Authority. Beginning on July 1st next succeeding <br />the operative date of Stage 1 of the Project, all costs of <br />maintenance and operation of the Joint Facilities shall be <br />distributed among the Agencies and paid as provided in <br />Article VI. <br /> Section 5.8. Conveyance of Facilities by Menlo <br />and Redwood City. On or before the operative date of Stage 1 <br />of the Project, Menlo and Redwood City shall each convey to <br />the Authority those portions of the Joint Facilities now <br />owned by them, respectively, together with rights of access <br />thereto, said portions being the existing Menlo Park primary <br />pumping station and the existing main pumping station in Red- <br />wood City (excluding the land on which they are constructed). <br />If either such conveyance takes place prior to said operative <br />date, the costs of maintenance and operation of the facilities <br />conveyed shall be added to the costs of maintenance and opera- <br />tion of the 1969 facilities and paid for as provided in Section 5.3. <br /> Section 5.9. Allocation of capital Costs. <br /> (a) Capital costs of Stage 1 of the Project. The <br />capital cost of each component of Stage 1 of the Project shall <br />be allocated on the basis of the percentages set forth on <br />Exhibit A hereto. All moneys received by the Authority <br />from State or Federal grants for capital costs or costs of <br />special services for any component of Stage 1 of the Project <br />shall be allocated to the respective Agencies on the bases <br />set forth in Exhibit A for the purpose of determining the <br />amounts thereof to be paid by the respective Agencies. <br /> 22 <br /> 1005045 <br />
