"Act", means ArtiCle 1 and <br /> Article 2 (commencing with Section 6500) of Chapter 5, ". <br /> Division 7, Title 1 of the Government Code of the state. <br /> Section 1.3. "Aqencies" and "Agency". "Agencies" <br /> means all of the parties to this Agreement and "Agency" means <br /> anyone such party. <br /> Section L 4. "Agreement". "Agreement" means <br /> this Agreement. <br /> Section l.S. "1969 agreement" and "1969 authority". <br /> "1969 agreement" means that certain joint exercise of powers <br /> agreement between the cities dated June 26, 1969. "1969 <br /> authority" means the authority created by the 1969 agreement. <br /> Section 1.6. "Area It. "Area" means the South Bayside <br /> Area, being the aggregate of the service areas of the respective <br /> Agencies. The service areas of the respective Agencies are <br /> delineated on the map attached hereto as Exhibit C and here- <br /> by made a part of this Agreement and are further described <br /> in Table I-l and Division I-A of the Project Report. <br /> Section 1.7. "Authority". "Authority" means the <br /> south Bayside System Authority created pursuant to this <br /> Agreement. <br /> Section 1.8. "Belmont". "Belmont" means the City <br /> of Belmont, a municipal corporation and general law city <br /> duly organized and existing in the county under the Constitu- <br /> tion and laws Of the state. <br /> Section 1.9. "Bond interest and redemption expenses". <br /> "Bond interest and redemption expenses" means those sums of <br /> money required to be expended by the Authority from any bond <br /> interest and redemption fund to be established and maintained <br /> by the Authority for the payment of principal of and interest <br /> on bonds (if any) issued pursuant to this Agreement. <br /> 1005026 <br /> 3 <br />
