7111 -le following appeared in protest: <br />Mr. Magnani, owner of property at 1830 industrial ,^iay pro- <br />tested proposed use at this site because of commercial enter- <br />prises under lease at his property. <br />Mrs. Vera Eskin, of San Carlos, representing nine property <br />owners adjacent to Industrial lt,,'ay, all in protest of this <br />proposed use in this area. <br />Mr. Douglas Hewitt, 359 E Street, protesting proposed use <br />and recommended Council affirm action of the Planning Commission. <br />Mr. William L. Kelley, 27 Flower Street, protesting in agree- <br />ment with statements made by others. <br />Paul Tessendorff, , 45 Claremont. <br />Councilman Royer expressed opinion appellant should be given opportunity to <br />appear and moved, therefore, that based on fact appellant unable to be present <br />and request made for continuance, public hearing be continued for one week, <br />seconded by Councilman Petersen and carried.
