Councilman Royer felt basic problem from information received was location being <br />hack from street without proper access which would make difficult policing and <br />safety problems. <br />Police Chief stated he had made investigation of enterprises run by appellants in <br />San Diego and no police problems were evidenced but felt location of this proposed <br />site of concern as to parking problems and policing and on this basis would object to <br />proposed use. <br />Councilman Bury moved to close the public hearing seconded by Councilman Granger and <br />carried. <br />Councilman Weymouth moved to affirm the action of the Planning Commission and deny <br />the permit, seconded by Councilman Royer and carried on roll call vote, Councilman <br />Herkner abstaining because of absence at previous hearing. (MINUTE ORDER X66-9) <br />PUBLIC HEARING on Resolution of Intention to form Undergrounding Utility District No. <br />66-1, declared open and affidavits of publication and mailing were ordered filed. <br />There being no written communications or oral protest presented, Councilman Royer <br />moved to close the public hearing, seconded by Councilman Petersen and carried. <br />Councilman Bury moved to introduce Ordinance establishing Underground Utility District <br />in the vicinity of Walnut Street, Maple Street, Veterans Boulevard and Broadway; <br />designating said District as Underground. Utility District No. 66-1; describing the <br />boundaries of said District; and, establishing the time in which poles and overhead <br />wires shall be removed and underground service provided, seconded by Councilman <br />Granger and carried. <br />PUBLIC REARING on Resolution of Intention of the Planning Commission to rezone from CN <br />to R-4 the westerly 65' measured front and rear of lots 12 and. 13, Hess Tract, being <br />all of the parcel known as 1620 Hess Road and the rear 65' of the parcel :'mown as 490 <br />Woodside Road., declared open and affidavits of publication and mailing were ordered <br />tiled. <br />Report of the Planning Commission and Staff Analysis was read stating CN zoning for <br />this parcel was in error in map preparation and should be corrected. <br />Jack Woodfield, of Ross Realty Company, 777 Marshall, <br />recuested information on zoning in this parcel and por- <br />tion of property remaining. <br />Zoning Coordinator explained portion remaining excluded from this hearing but is bean; <br />considered for rezoning and will be the subject of another public hearing at a later <br />date. Councilman Petersen moved to close the public hearing seconded by Councilman <br />Bury and carried. <br />Councilman Granger moved to introduce Ordinance adding Section 60.2.16 to Ordinance No. <br />13301 the Redwood City Zoning Ordin=ance, rezoning property in the vicinity of Hess Road <br />and Woodside Road, seconded by Councilman Petersen and carried. <br />PUBLIC HEARING on application of Hans J. Jacobsen for amendment to Section 60.2, Ordinance <br />1130, to rezone from R-4 to CP, a portion of Lot 13, ?flock G, Woodside Acres, at 1653 <br />and 061 Union Avenue, was declared open and affidavits of publication and mailing were <br />
