I-?pyor Rosselli reported further on the impact a college would make on the community <br />based on statistics used from other col lege sites funning into .Millions in every <br />commercial and industrial line when college reached its peak capacity. He made <br />folio ln7 recommendations based on information received from Assemblyman Pri.tschCl, <br />and which should be carried out; within 30 days. <br />1. The City Council should i_mmedlate77 tn' e all steps necessary to mount a success- <br />ful campaign to bring the new stato co.'_ i e7o to Redwood City. <br />P. '.s the first Step, the City council should authorize and sponsor the organization <br />of a city-wide ide.. committee to spearhead this campaign. <br />3. The committee should Include representatives of industry, labor, retail business, <br />finance, real Psta,te, construction, news media, citizens-at-le,rge, and any other <br />special groups recommended by the Council. <br />4. Tn order to launch this committee forming without delay, it is recommended that <br />Per Turner be named to represent the citizens at large, and Rudd Stevenson tc ropre_ <br />sent the construction firms and contractors.
