Commissioners would like to join the fund raising task force. <br /> Commissioners Moran and Distefano volunteered to be on the task force. <br /> -Sequoia Station <br /> Commissioners Fischer said she will be in contact with her sub-committee <br /> members and David Irmer. <br /> -Invitation to Deborah Nelson to attend June Meeting <br /> The Commissioners agreed to invite Community Development Director <br /> Deborah Nelson to the June meeting. <br /> ITEM 5-DISCUSSION OF RECOMMENDATION TO PLANNING <br /> COMMISSION REGARDING PUBLIC MURALS <br /> Commissioner Piulle recommended that any future public murals should be <br /> more muted in color. <br /> M/S Piulle/Moran: That a letter be sent to the Planning Department asking <br /> that they consider more pastel-like muted colors in <br /> future public murals. <br /> Motion passed. <br /> M/S Fischer/Moran: To have the Community Development Department <br /> establish guidelines in cooperation with the Cultural <br /> Commission for murals. <br /> Motion passed. <br /> ITEM 7-FAMILIES ARTS DAY <br /> Supervisor Hannon said the San Mateo County Arts Council is arranging all <br /> the artists for the event and we are taking care of the entertainment. She said <br /> there will be more marketing to summer schools and day care providers. She <br /> said a personal invitation is being sent to the Redwood City Art Center to see <br /> if they would like to have an artist operate a booth for Families Arts Day. <br /> ITEM 8- SUMMER CONCERT PROGRAM <br /> Supervisor Hannon passed out the Summer Concert Schedule for the <br /> Commissioners review. The Commissioners volunteered to be host and <br /> back-up host for the following concerts: <br /> june 16 - Piulle, Moran <br /> june 21 - Filippi, Ball <br /> june 25 - Moran, Ball, Distefano <br /> june 30 - Distefano, Fischer <br /> July 14 - Filippi, Redington <br /> july 20 - Piulle, Filippi <br />
