She asked if the monies allocated for a Christmas Concert at the October <br /> Commission meeting could be used for the Sequoia concert. The <br /> Commissioners discussed the fact that the monies were allocated to provide <br /> music for this year's Christmas Parade sponsored by the Optimist Club. The <br /> Optimist Club had not approached the Commission for funding for the event <br /> and had not been made aware of the funding offer. Chairperson Redington <br /> and Commissioner Saye, both members of the Optimist Club, stated this <br /> matter would have to be discussed by the Optimist Board at their November 7 <br /> meeting which would be too late to get a concert organized. <br /> M/S Filippi/Fischer: To rescind the $1,000.00 allotted for music for the <br /> December 2 Christmas Parade. <br /> Motion passed. <br />
