ITEM 9 - MURAL GUIDELINES REVIEW Commissioner Piulle reviewed the proposed guidelines with the Commissioners and asked for any comments or suggestions. M/S Filippi/Ball: To accept the proposed Redwood City Mural Guidelines. Motion passed. Superintendent Hartman explained the next step is to have this agendized for the City Council. A staff report will need to be written and a presentation will need to be made by a representative of the Commission at a future City Council meeting. ITEM 10- GRANT APPLICATION FORM The Commissioners reviewed a draft of the revised grant application form and made additions to the form. M/S Piulle/Ball: To accept the revised application document. Motion passed. ITEM 11-CHRISTMAS CONCERT Commissioner Ball announced Sequoia High School will be presenting a music concert on Saturday, December 9 with proceeds to benefit Carrington Hall. She asked if the monies allocated for a Christmas Concert at the October Commission meeting could be used for the Sequoia concert. The Commissioners discussed the fact that the monies were allocated to provide music for this year's Christmas Parade sponsored by the Optimist Club. The Optimist Club had not approached the Commission for funding for the event and had not been made aware of the funding offer. Chairperson Redington and Commissioner Saye, both members of the Optimist Club, stated this matter would have to be discussed by the Optimist Board at their November 7 meeting which would be too late to get a concert organized. M/S Filippi/Fischer: To rescind the $1,000.00 allotted for music for the December 2 Christmas Parade. Motion passed.
