Do your homework; if you can't get something done, call someone else to <br /> help. <br /> 8.) Develop criteria for Special Meetings. <br /> 9.) Decide on policy for grant requests for events that have already been <br /> held. <br /> 12.) Get ruling from City Attorney regarding Conflict of Interest; when does a <br /> Commissioner have to withdraw or leave the podium; e.g., Commissioners <br /> who belong to other groups that request money and voting on their grant <br /> requests. <br /> ITEM 11-FOCUS 95-96/COMMISSION WORKPLAN <br /> -The Fair Oaks Library is moving on Saturday, December 9 and need help <br /> with the move. Their grand opening will be held in January. <br /> -Commissioner Filippi announced the Peninsula Symphony is looking at St. <br /> Pius Church as the location for their 1996 Christmas Concert. There is a <br /> problem because St. Pius will not allow the use of their church unless it <br /> benefits their school. He will obtain more information on this matter. <br /> -Commissioner Ball said she would like to work with Joe Marchi on a <br /> fundraiser. <br /> -Commissioner Saye stated he would like to see us offer something similar to <br /> the Chickens' Ball in San Carlos. The event could be held at Carrington Hall. <br /> -Commissioner Fischer said she really likes the idea of children dancing at the <br /> Concert in the Park series. She also suggested more "hands-on" projects with <br /> school children and suggested the Commissioners actually go out and visit <br /> more in the schools. <br /> TTEM 12-HISTORIC TOUIZS BOOK <br /> The Commissioners reviewed copies of the Historic Tours Book developed by <br /> the Historic Resources Advisory Committee (HRAC). Commissioner Saye <br /> noted he has sold over 50 copies of the book. <br />
