Commissioner Distefano suggested taking pictures at each concert for the Port <br /> Commission. The Commissioners discussed having food collection bins for <br /> the Fair Oaks Community Center at the concerts. <br /> M/S Fischer/Distefano: If Bonnie Miller is interested, then place collection <br /> bins at all evening concerts. <br /> Motion passed. (Yes-5, No-2) <br /> ITEM 6- CARRINGTON HALL UPDATE <br /> Chairperson Redington reported that the next Carrington Hall Committee <br /> Meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 19 at 7:30pm. Commissioner <br /> Fischer will check with the School District to see if the meeting can be held at <br /> their offices. An agenda will be sent out as soon as a location is selected. <br /> M/S Filippi/Distefano: To have the next meeting of the Carrington Hall <br /> Committee on April 19. <br /> Motion passed. <br /> Commissioner Ball mentioned that sets and accoustical equipment might be <br /> available from the Circle Star Theater. Commissioner Filippi will contact <br /> Frank Bravo of the Sequoia Alumni Association to see if it can be used at <br /> Carrington Hall. <br /> ITEM 7-PERCENT FOR PUBLIC ART <br /> Commissioner Piulle had done research and compiled a report in 1989 which <br /> included what other cities were doing on this subject. It was suggested that <br /> phone calls be made to these cities to update this information. <br /> M/S Filippi/Moran: To have the Cultural Commission pursue this matter <br /> and make phone calls to the cities in the original report. <br /> Motion withdrawn. <br /> M/S Filippi/Moran: To send a letter to the Architectural Advisory <br /> Committee to enlist their support on a Percent for Art Program. <br /> Motion passed. <br /> ITEM 8-FOCUS '95 <br /> -Mural Guidelines <br /> Commissioners Piulle and Distefano will meet on this matter and will report <br /> back at the May meeting. <br />
