She
suggested that Ms. Webber then submit any changes to the Vice Chairperson
for approval since Chairperson Piulle will be out of town. Chairperson Piulle
reviewed the timetable established as part of Ms. Webber's contract and stated
the art work should be ready for shipment on November 27 and will be
installed after the holidays.
The Commissioners discussed the proposed art work and gave their
individual opinions which will be forwarded to Ms. Webber. Park and
Recreation Commissioners Don Davis and Ed Nordness said the cartoon was
presented to them at their September 25 meeting and that the Commission
was in favor of the flow of the art work but felt that the art work should be
reflective of the activities at Red Morton Center including having a
wheelchair athlete. Chairperson Piulle said that the art work is not an
illustration but a conceptual design of the artist; artistic versus realistic.
