She made a special mention of PCA <br /> representatives Bob Slusser and Rick Coats who organized the logistics of the <br /> downtown parade and preview show, and Jeff Filippi and Loretta Knight who <br /> did the layout of the Tribune insert. <br /> -Arguello Bust Relocation <br /> Commissioners Redington and Saye said the Arguello bust will probably stay <br /> at its current location because the JPA would not accept any of the proposals <br /> for its relocation to a different site. <br /> M/S Ball/Distefano: To dissolve the Arguello Bust Relocation <br /> sub-committee. <br /> Motion passed. <br /> -Hoover Mural <br /> Commissioner Saye reported the Commission's assistance is no longer <br /> required on this project. <br /> M/S Saye/Redington: To dissolve the Hoover School Mural sub-committee. <br /> Motion passed. <br /> -City Hall Historical Art <br /> This was discussed under Item 3. <br /> -Red Morton Art Opening <br /> Commissioner Ball stated the sub-committee will meet with Park and <br /> Recreation Commissioners Nordness, Morton and Swope after January 1. <br /> ITEM 6-1997 SUMMER CONCERTS <br /> The banner for the concerts will be ordered in early 1997. The Commissioners <br /> discussed their ideas for the 1997 concert at the Port and how to incorporate <br /> the Port's 60th anniversary into the concert program. The Commissioners <br /> agreed to have the 1997 Summer Concerts sub-committee work on this <br /> matter. <br /> M/S Saye/Distefano: To agree to have the 1997 Summer Concerts <br /> sub-committee develop the program for the Port concert. <br /> Motion passed. <br />
