Belmont was unable to provide information when she called.
Commissioner Filippi said he wants to give priority to Redwood City events
and wants a banner policy for the City. Commissioner Distefano said she will
try to get something in writing from each city she contacted on their banner
policies. Conunissioner Saye said the Merchants Group recently sent a letter
to the City Council with the same recommendation as the Commission.
Commissioner Filippi suggested having outside groups charged to hang
banners in Redwood City because of the costs involved.
