City assumes no responsibility for the guarding <br /> and safekeeping of property, equipment, or improvements installed or <br /> constructed by Permittee upon, or used in connection with, the Subject <br /> Premises. Permittee hereby waives all claims against City, and agrees to hold <br /> City harmless from any and all claims, for damages to materials, supplies, <br /> equipment or other property, and persons in or upon or about the Subject <br /> Premises from any cause arising at any time, including all claims arising out of <br /> the negligence of City, its officers, agents, or employees. <br /> 7. HOLD HARMLESS; RELEASE. Permittee shall be solely responsible <br /> and liable for all damages to persons or property, including injury to, or death of, <br /> persons and loss of use of property, due directly or indirectly to Permittee's use <br /> and occupancy of the Subject Premises and shall defend, indemnify and hold the <br /> City of Redwood City harmless from any and all suits, actions, damages, or <br /> claims to which City may be subjected by reason of said use and occupancy of <br /> the Subject Premises hereunder. <br /> 8. INSURANCE. Permittee shall maintain at all time during which this <br /> permit remains in effect, at Permittee's sole cost and expense, commercial <br /> general liability and property damage insurance, which insurance shall be in the <br /> following minimum amounts: <br /> (a) $1,000,000 for injury or death of any one person and $1,000,000 <br /> for any one occurrence; <br /> (b) Property damage insurance in the of$1,500,000. <br /> Agmt-482 4 <br /> DES:djk <br /> F:S hared/Redwood/Council <br /> 05/14/01 <br />
