<br />RESOLUTION No. 557. SALE OF PROPERTY. Councilrnan Holmquist offered resolution and moved
<br />adoption that Lot No. 13, Block 45, Central Park No. 2, be sold to the highest bidder,
<br />James Hickerson, for the sum of $350, seconded by Councilman Morgan, and carried on
<br />roll call. Councilman Swift noted absent.
<br />R E S O L U T I O N No- 557
<br />AUTHORIZING DEED FROM CITY OF REDWOOD CITY TO JAMES HICKERSON
<br />WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Redwood City has heretofore given public
<br />notice soliciting bids for the real property hereinafter described for the time and
<br />in the manner required by law; and
<br />WHEREAS the said JAMES HICKERSON did the sum of $350.00 for said property, which
<br />said bid was the highest and best bid received for said property and is as much as,
<br />or more than, the minimum price fixed by Resolution No. 550 as the purchase price
<br />for said property;
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood City that
<br />said City of Redwood City sell and convey by deed to JAMES HICKERSON the real prop-
<br />erty hereinabove referred to situated in the City of Redwood City, County of San
<br />Mateo, State of California, and more particularly described as follows:
<br />Lot 13 in Block 45 as shown on that certain map entitled "MAP NO. 2
<br />OF CENTRAL PARK, REDWOOD CITY, SAN MATEO" filed in the office of the
<br />County Recorder of San Mateo County July 20, 1912 in Book 5 of Maps
<br />at pages 15 and 16,
<br />for said sum of $350.00, paid concurrently with the delivery of said deed.
<br />FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the Clerk of this City be, and they are,
<br />hereby authorized to execute such deed for and on behalf of said City.
<br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at a regular
<br />meeting thereof held on the 21st day of June, 1945, by the following vote:
<br />AYES, and in favor of the passage and adoption of the foregoing Resolution:
<br />Councilman: BRITSCHGI, GRANGER, HOLMQUIST, MORGAN, SPILLERS, and Mayor WERDER.
